Official meeting dates, times, locations, and agendas for all meetings are posted in both the agenda box at Town Hall and the agenda box at H.E.D.A. in addition to this website. Except in cases of emergency meetings, agendas are posted at least 24 hours prior to a regular meeting or 48 hours prior to a special meeting.
All Town of Hinton meetings are open to the public under the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act. State law also provides that certain sensitive items, such as personnel matters and pending litigation, may be discussed in private executive session. Executive sessions are noted on the meeting agenda.
Every agenda is considered preliminary until 24 hours prior to the meeting. The final agenda for each meeting will be posted no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting’s start time.
