Hinton Fact!

On 5/21/1960 ceremonies were held to dedicate the Norman Smith Memorial Library. The library was dedicated to Norman as he was a lover of books and no more fitting memorial could be built for him than to establish a library. This is one of the most valuable assets to the town which has been added in the past several years.

The Hinton Public Library is located at 123 E. Main in Downtown Hinton. Library Director, Taylor Meriwether, is dedicated to providing the highest quality materials in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The Library mascot, Toothless, is always happy to greet patrons. Lizard
