General
The Hinton Fire Department is manned by 19 volunteer firefighters under the direction of Chief Toby Brookshire. They provide assistance to the Hinton community as well as the surrounding towns
and provide mutual assistance to the local ambulance, police department and Highway Patrol.
For insurance use, the Town's ISO rating for the fire department is a 7.
